Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a local Secondary School in Bingley, BD16 who are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants to support Teaching Staff with behaviour, 1:1 support and classroom management. As a Teaching Assistant in my partner school you will be working with a number of pupils in a range of subjects which will involve having good organisational skills and being able to build rapport with students quickly.

Key responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include:

  • Supporting and motivating students in lessons
  • Delivering work that has been set by the class teacher to students 1:1
  • Working in small groups to help improve student progress
  • Assisting class teacher with preparing resources
  • Following students progress plans to help them best achieve their full potential

The candidate will ideally already have classroom experience or experience working with young people and be looking to gain secondary school education experience. Joining my partner school you will be supported by a successful senior leadership team who have been dedicated towards continually improving the school and providing opportunities for their staff.
