Opportunity to join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school to provide support within the Science department.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • Required to start from September 2021 to cover a 12-month maternity leave.
  • Secondary school located in Bolton.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point, GBP25,714 - GBP41,604.

The Science department has state of the art facilities and modern resources which can be utilised within the classrooms and practical laboratories.  Our client secondary school is located in Bolton and has around 850 pupils on roll. It can be accessed via the M61 and public transport links from the centre of Bolton and surrounding areas such as Bury, Radcliffe and Leigh.

The responsibilities for the incoming Science teacher will include teaching a full time table, planning and delivering inventive Science lessons and full planning and marking responsibilities. You must hold QTS to be considered for this role alongside experience teaching Science up to GCSE level.
