Full time Teacher of General Science required from January 2020 for a small secondary school in North London.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our partner secondary school in North London, who are seeking a Science Teacher to join their Science department from January 2020. This role will cover the final two terms of the academic year, and may lead to a permanent role at the school from the next academic year.

  • Full time Teacher of Science role from January 2020
  • Role for the final two terms of the academic year (until July 2020)
  • Potential for a permanent contract from September 2020
  • Experience teaching other Science subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics etc.) is desirable but not essential for this role
  • Teaching both KS3 and KS4 History
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373-GBP40,490)

Our partner secondary school is located in the North London, and is smaller than the national average with around 850 students currently enrolled. Situated close to a local underground and over ground stations. Our partner secondary has been identified by Ofsted as having strong teaching and learning across a number of subject areas.

As a Science teacher at our partner school, you will be joining a highly successful and dedicated department which has enjoyed great success in recent years in terms of exam results. Prospective candidates should be highly enthusiastic teachers who are experienced at planning and delivering high quality and engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply, as the school has an excellent NQT support programme with proven track record.
