Due to a gap within the schools Science department, this 11-18 secondary school wish to appoint a Science teacher for January.

-          Full time Science teacher fixed term position

-          Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school who achieve results well above the national average

-          Leading a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes

Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience  

Ideally the incoming teacher will be a Biology or Chemistry specialist however the school are open to applications from teachers who are able to teach more than one area of Science.

The incoming Science teacher will be required to take on a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes and be fully committed to all departmental responsibilities including; Planning and marking, following schemes of work, attending regular training and development opportunities and half termly parents evenings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
