Job description

Are you a Teacher of Science looking to join a friendly and supportive School who focus on your development? We are seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Science for September 2019, or sooner.

The Science Department sits within the larger Maths and Science faculty at the School,and enjoys excellent facilities and clear leadership. The Department has a proven record of excellent teaching and student progress, and you will contribute to their ongoing success and development.

The successful Candidate will:

  • Be passionate about the Sciences, and educating young minds

  • Be able to teach across the specialisms, having the opportunity to teach you specialism at KS5

  • Help support the development of learning and teaching strategies within Science, and across the School

  • Be able to demonstrate success in teaching KS3 and KS4 students of all abilities

The School is an oversubscribed, vibrant and successful one. Based close to the the Cathedral City centre of Chichester, and within walking distance of the local train station. The School, its Staff and Students share an ethos of excellence, and the curriculum covers teaching from KS3 to KS5.

Applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome. The start date for this appointment is September '19, but could be brought forward if availability was as such.
