We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Fulwood, Preston from January 2027. This is a full-time teaching position with full class responsibility, including planning, preparation, assessment and reporting.

The Role

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

• Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote progress and achievement.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil attainment and development.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally as they prepare for Upper Key Stage 2.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Be passionate about delivering engaging and effective lessons.
