Science Teacher - Wigan

A mainstream secondary school, situated in the heart of Wigan, is currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team after the Easter break for a long-term position.

Job Details:

  • Full-time Science Teacher, specialising in GCSE Science
  • Position available for an immediate start after Easter 2024
  • Competitive salary in line with MPS/UPS - £30,000 to £46,525

  • Responsibilities include lesson planning and marking

The successful candidate will join a friendly team of teachers and pupils. We are seeking an individual with strong classroom management skills and a proven record of raising attainment in Science. Our school prioritises a student-centred education, evident in our values and ethos.

To be considered for this role, you must have QTS and experience teaching in a secondary education setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
