If so, please see the details below of a full-time Science teaching position that is set to commence in one of our Orrell based secondary schools in January 2024
- Full-time Science teacher required to start as soon as possible
- Teaching students aged 11-16 at KS3 and GCSE level.
- Pay will be in line the newly introduced Minimum and Upper pay scale
- Smaller than average Secondary school based in Wigan
- Employment on a temporary basis with a view to be taken onto a permanent contract
The Head of Science has highlighted that the incoming teacher that will be joining the school on a full-time basis must be able to teach students at GCSE level in an engaging manner in order to teach in line with the standards that have been set from the schools Head of Science.
It is essential that the incoming teacher is able to use effective and varied teaching methods in order to push their students to achieve excellent results at GCSE level, making it easier for them to regularly exceed their target grade.
- The school is located close to the Wigan town centre and is school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Golborne and Tyldesley

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
