Teacher of Science – September 2025 Start

Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm or Permanent

Location: Waterlooville

Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Salary: MPR/UPR

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working closely with a well-established secondary school located in Waterlooville, Hampshire. This inclusive and forward-thinking school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join their team from September 2025.

The school, set in a semi-rural location near the South Downs, offers a vibrant and supportive environment where student success and innovation are central to its ethos. With a strong focus on technology and practical learning, the school boasts excellent facilities, including modern science laboratories and a collaborative teaching culture that encourages professional growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be expected to plan and assess in line with the national curriculum, inspire students to develop a passion for science, and contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

We are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification, and who has experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4. Strong classroom management skills, a commitment to inclusive education, and a positive, adaptable attitude are essential. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your journey in a supportive setting, we would love to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
