Job description

Teacher of Science - Hampshire

The PWR team are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science for a forward-thinking secondary school within the Bohunt Trust, serving the wider Hampshire area. This is a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic science educator to inspire students across the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, fostering curiosity and scientific literacy.

As a Teacher of Science, you'll be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering stimulating lessons to students across various key stages, potentially including GCSE and A-Level. You'll encourage practical investigation, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of scientific principles, contributing to a vibrant and successful science department.

We're seeking candidates with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Science. The ideal applicant will be committed to high-quality teaching, possess strong subject knowledge, and be able to motivate students of all abilities. This role is on the Fringe pay scale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
