The PWR team is thrilled to present a career opportunity for a dedicated educator to join our partner school in Romford, Essex. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to take on the role of Science Teacher on a permanent basis, starting in September 2024. Immediate start options are also available for candidates eager to begin earlier.

The Role:

  • Position: Science Teacher
  • Start Date: September 2024 (Immediate start available)
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Romford, Essex

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that inspire curiosity and promote student learning.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and teaching resources tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular science activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree or relevant qualification in a scientific discipline.
  • Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level, preferably within the UK curriculum.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in their scientific studies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
