Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Science Teacher for a Secondary School in Northamptonshire!

Salary: M1-UPS3 £31,650 - £49,084
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science who is passionate about their subject and dedicated to inspiring students across all abilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to contribute to a thriving and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set high expectations for all learners to enable them to reach their full potential.
  • Design and deliver engaging, challenging lessons tailored to a diverse student cohort.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform future teaching.
  • Encourage student ownership of learning through effective questioning, feedback, and self-assessment.
  • Foster a classroom environment where curiosity and critical thinking are celebrated.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A relevant degree in a science discipline.
  • A proven ability to teach consistently good or outstanding lessons.
  • A track record of improving student outcomes through innovative and effective teaching strategies.
