Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Physics Teacher for a Secondary School in Northamptonshire!  


Teacher of Physics
 Location: Northamptonshire
 Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Permanent
 Salary: MPS/UPS
 Start Date: January 2026 (or earlier, depending on availability)
 

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly successful and supportive secondary school to appoint an inspirational and innovative Teacher of Physics. This exciting role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners, with flexibility for part-time working.


 About the Role:

You’ll join a thriving Science department known for consistently high outcomes and a strong culture of collaboration. The department delivers GCSE Triple Science, A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as Level 3 Applied Science. The team is comprised of dedicated subject specialists and supported by a range of extracurricular opportunities, such as science clubs and national competitions.

  • A qualified teacher with a Physics specialism (QTS required)
  • A passionate educator who can inspire students across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
  • A reflective and proactive practitioner committed to continuous improvement
  • Someone eager to work as part of a friendly, high-functioning Science team
  • Applicants open to part-time or full-time hours will be considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
