Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Our partner school, a highly respected and academically successful secondary school based in Northampton, is seeking two exceptional Science Teachers to join their thriving Science Faculty from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to contribute to A-Level teaching in your specialist area.

As part of a dedicated and forward-thinking department, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love of Science in all its disciplines—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Whether you're an ECT or an experienced practitioner, the school offers a supportive environment to develop your teaching practice and contribute to departmental success.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a Science-related subject

  • Ability to teach general Science at KS3 and KS4; specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is welcome

  • Passion for teaching and a track record of raising attainment in Science

  • Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated learning strategies

  • Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills

  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips, and enrichment opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
