Do you have a PGCE in Secondary Education specialising in science?

Are you looking to step into a new full-time teaching role within a high-achieving secondary school based in Bury?

Our client school are looking for an experienced teacher of science to join their outstanding science department. This position is due to commence immediately and long-term following registration with Teaching Personnel.

You will be joining a team of hardworking professionals who are dedicated to providing high quality education to students. You will contribute to the ethos of the school and ensure that students make excellent progress.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • QTS status in Secondary Education Science
  • Experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Dedicated to raising attainment levels in science.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

What Teaching Personnel can offer you:

  • £30,000 – £46,525 per annum, in line with the Teacher Pay Scale.

This secondary school is located in Bury (BL9) which makes it easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Salford, Bolton and Central Manchester via public transport links and car (on-site parking).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
