Science Teacher – Secondary School – Audenshaw – September Start
Teaching Personnel is currently working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Audenshaw, well-regarded for its welcoming environment, diverse student body, and strong academic focus. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their thriving Science Department on a full-time basis starting in September.

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Pay: Paid in line with your teaching scale (MPS/UPS)
Role Overview:

Delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
-
Planning, preparing, and assessing engaging lessons that spark curiosity and promote scientific thinking
-
Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential, including preparation for GCSE Science examinations
-
Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to a forward-thinking and supportive Science Department
-
Creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love of learning

Participating in departmental meetings, whole-school CPD, and extracurricular science opportunities
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Strong knowledge and confidence teaching Science across all disciplines at secondary level

Passionate about inspiring young people through creative and effective teaching
-
Commitment to professional development and contributing to the wider school community

An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
