Science Teacher Needed!
A welcoming secondary school in the Bolton area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Science teacher, whether experienced or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), to become part of a thriving department in a supportive school environment.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a chance to specialise in your preferred discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) where possible. You’ll plan and deliver creative, challenging lessons that inspire students and encourage a love of Science.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Science to students aged 11–16, following the national curriculum
-
Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to mixed ability groups

Monitor, assess and report on student progress
-
Work collaboratively with the Science department to develop resources and support student learning

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
What We’re Looking For:

UK Secondary QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
-
Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum at KS3 and KS4
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and making a positive impact on student outcomes

Open to both experienced teachers and enthusiastic Early Career Teachers
