Science Graduate Teaching Assistant needed for one of our client schools in the Heaton Moor area of Stockport, the role will start in September 2023 and will last for the entire academic year. The school could opt to make the role permanent, depending on your performance. Our client is an 11 – 16 mixed secondary school and per the school’s last report Ofsted stated our client was a good school and was awarded three outstanding grades.
The pay for the role is between £1540 - £1800 per month dependant on experience, at Teaching Personnel we believe this is a great opportunity for someone to build their experience in an Ofsted good school, the school is a welcoming place with excellent facilities.
Our client is looking for someone wanting to inspire its pupils and show them the amazing things possible with science. The school is brand new, boasting state of the art facilities and teaching aids at your disposal. This is a rare opportunity to start your school career in a modern school that has three outstanding grades from Ofsted.
The successful applicant will also have a range of CPD courses available to them, these courses are available via Teaching Personnel or internally within our client school.
Our client is looking for someone who can come up with creative ways to keep pupils engaged and motivated, you will also be expected to enforce school policies at all times especially those regarding behaviour and academic achievement. The successful candidate will also work with pupils with SEN requirements, these requirements could require a number of support options such as supporting students with Colour Blindness, ADD, Dyslexia or Autism to name a few examples. You will also liaise with leadership and teaching staff to help identify students who may benefit from extended support.
To work in any of our partner schools you must have an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service, if you aren’t in possession of one your application will be supported by Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
