We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Science Teacher from April 2018, who is passionate about raising standards and life chances of young people. For the right candidate an additional R&R allowance is available. With this role you would be planning and developing your own work and curriculum with the support of the head of faculty. This role could be either full or part time depending on your availability and is a full planning and marking role.
This is an ideal and exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher, who together with a passion for their subject will have the drive, energy and enthusiasm to work with the existing teams to build on the strong progress already made in the department and wider STEM faculty.
You will work alongside the other staff within the department and wider STEM faculty to develop the curriculum, schemes of learning and excellent pedagogical practice.
The tech department is strong team, well supported by an excellent head of department.
The school an 11-16 school and has approximately 1,000 pupils on roll. It is an exceptionally exciting time to be at the school and a great place for ambitious individuals to develop their career further. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
