Are you a graduate, career changer, or someone looking for a meaningful and rewarding profession?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting ambitious future teachers to join an Exceptional-rated school-based teacher training programme starting in January 2027. Based in Bournemouth, with placements across the surrounding area, this is an opportunity to gain practical classroom experience while working towards becoming a qualified teacher.

This programme is built around the belief that every trainee can succeed with the right support, expert guidance, and high expectations. You'll be encouraged to develop your own teaching style, build confidence in the classroom, and make a lasting difference to the lives of young people.

Your Two-Year Journey into Teaching

The Future Teachers Programme provides a clear and supportive pathway into the profession, allowing you to gain valuable school experience before progressing onto formal teacher training.

Year 1 - Future Teacher Placement

You'll spend the academic year working within a secondary school, gaining first-hand classroom experience while learning from experienced teachers and school leaders. During this year, you will:

  • Support students in lessons and intervention groups
  • Develop classroom management skills
  • Learn effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Build confidence working with young people
  • Receive ongoing support and guidance from Teaching Personnel and school-based mentors

This experience helps you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to progress onto teacher training.

Year 2 - Teacher Training

Successful candidates will move onto an Ofsted-rated 'Exceptional' teacher training programme, working towards:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • The option to gain a PGCE
  • Expert mentoring and instructional coaching
  • Research-led professional development
  • A recognised teaching qualification and strong employment prospects

From day one, you'll be immersed in school life, combining practical teaching experience with high-quality training designed to help you become the best teacher you can be.

Why Choose This Programme?

  • A structured two-year route into teaching
  • Real classroom experience before teacher training
  • Exceptional training and support throughout the programme
  • A strong focus on professional growth, wellbeing, and inclusion
  • Learn from experienced teachers and leaders
  • Develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills to succeed in the classroom
  • Excellent career opportunities upon completion

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from graduates and aspiring teachers who:

  • Hold or are working towards a degree
  • Are passionate about supporting young people
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are reflective, resilient, and eager to learn
  • Want to make a positive impact through education

Whether you're finishing university, considering a career change, or looking for a route into teaching, this programme offers the support and experience needed to get started.
