Are you an experienced and enthusiastic early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? A well-established nursery in Childwall is seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join their supportive and committed team.

Position Details

Role: Room Leader
Location: Childwall, Liverpool (L16)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of nursery practitioners within your allocated room.
• Deliver consistently high standards of care and early education for children aged 0–5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and the nursery management team.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment at all times.
• Observe, monitor and assess children’s development, ensuring accurate record keeping.

Essential Requirements

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential).
• A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
