Are you a teacher of Religious Studies? Are you looking for the next step in your career?
A large Faith Academy Trust in Plymouth is looking to recruit a well qualified teacher of Religious Studies to start in January 2020. This full time position offers cohesive working with other specialist throughout the Trust where you will always be supported and work closely with colleagues. This school is committed to collegiate working and is improving the quality of teaching and learning in a mixed ability teaching environment. There is a possibility of a permanent position offered by the school for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent teacher of Religious Studies with the ability to motivate and enthuse students
- Have the determination to deliver outstanding outcomes for your students
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to raising progress and standards
- Possess integrity, good humour and moral purpose
About the Role:
- Role to start January 2020 (with trial days and interviews in December 2019)
- PPA cover will be given
- Parking available
- Access to CPD
- Rate of pay to be confirmed dependant on experience and school terms
Requirements:
- 2 contactable references
- CV and personal statement
- Respectful attitude to uphold the faith ethos
- Enhanced Child workforce DBS (can be purchased through Teaching Personnel)
- Religious Studies as a specialist subject
- PGCE/BEd/Degree with QTS
- A NQT would require placement mentoring/final assessment reports

Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.
