A co-educational secondary school located in the Warrington area is seeking to appoint a Religious Education teacher to join their flourishing Humanities department in September 2019. The successful Religious Education teacher is required for a term in the first instance being payrolled through Teaching Personnel. There is the opportunity to progress on to a school based contract if this is of interest to the appointed Religious Education teacher. The school are specifically looking for a Religious Education teacher who is innovative in their approach to the subject and passionate in their teaching of the Religious Education Curriculum. This a full time position where the Religious Education teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 Religious Education. Applications are being encouraged from teachers of all experience levels including NQTs and more experienced teachers alike.

Highlights of this Religious Education teaching position:

  • Pay will be in line with payscale for this longer term RE teaching position; £23720 - £39406
  • Duration: 1 term in the first instance with opportunity to progress on to a school based contract
  • Full time Religious Education position, starting 10th September 2019

  • Highly supportive Humanities department consisting of RE, History, Geography and Citizenship specialists
