Pay: From £13.75 an hour
Hours: Monday to Friday/ 8.45-3.45
A small Primary School in Bolton is looking for School Receptionist/Administrator. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8.45am – 3.45 pm, this is a long-term opportunity to start in September 2025.
This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome. You will be responsible for managing the front-of-house area and supporting administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and sign in visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Input attendance registers accurately and efficiently.
- Use internal systems such as SIMS and ParentPay to manage records and payments.
- Communicate with parents and carers, including handling challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Manage your time and workload independently, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Support general administrative duties as required.
Skills and Qualities Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with sensitive situations professionally.
- Good organisational skills and time management.
- Experience using school-based systems is desirable.
- A positive, proactive, and welcoming attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
