Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in East Sussex who are looking for a dynamic Administrative Assistant with either relevant experience or an appetite to learn and assist our support functions to help deliver excellent student outcomes. You will work across several departments including reception, finance and reprographics. This is an exciting time to be part of the schools adminstrative team, with a newly appointed Headteacher, a clear direction and superb support from Governors driving forward focused improvements.
Previous experience as a receptionist or adminstrative work is desirable but not essential. You will need to have good interpersonal skills, as well as good organisation skills where you are able to prioritise work during a working day. You must have strong IT skills, and have a confidence to be able to speak to students and parents, both in person and on the phone. Throughout your day, you will be accountable for the following things:
- To maintain appropriate records and to provide relevant accurate and up-to- date information as appropriate for teaching colleagues/parents and carers and external agencies.
- To be responsible for developing and maintaining personal development records
- To communicate effectively with colleagues, the parents of students as appropriate
- Where appropriate, to communicate and cooperate with persons or bodies outside of the school
- To contribute to the process of the ordering department supplies through the appropriate channel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
