A school located in the city of Blackburn have contacted Teaching Personnel to source and shortlist an EYFS practitioner to undertake a role at the school working from September to December, covering a maternity. The role does have the potential to continue in the New Year if you wish to apply for the role on the local jobs website.
The school is classed as ‘inner-city’ and does have a number of children arrive in school from socially deprived backgrounds. The majority of children are from Asian heritage backgrounds but it is not a necessity to be able to speak other languages. It is important that you are able to build strong working relationships with staff and parents/guardians. The Head teacher is keen to improve standards radically and so you must be prepared to work hard and be committed to changes in school throughout the term.
The role begins in September and will run on a temporary supply basis until December. This will be full time, five days a week; with the potential to continuing in the New Year, subject to application etc.
