SEN Supply Teaching Assistant – Waterlooville

Looking for flexible work where you can make a real difference?

We are currently seeking motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, working across SEN schools in Waterlooville and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to support pupils who may need a little extra encouragement, patience and understanding to thrive.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting pupils throughout the school day

  • Providing individualised support where required

  • Helping pupils engage with their learning and classroom activities

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and developing pupils' confidence

  • Supporting children with their social, emotional and communication needs

  • Working closely with teachers and other members of the support team

  • Creating a calm, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment

What are we looking for?

You don't necessarily need years of SEN experience — the right attitude, resilience and passion for supporting children are just as important.

  • Confident working with children and young people

  • Adaptable and able to respond to different situations

  • Reliable and committed

  • Interested in developing your experience within SEN education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
