Fancy a new challenge in the New Year? Maybe you are looking for your first role since qualifying or perhaps you have resigned from a previous role? Then look no further than securing a new role with Teaching Personnel in Lancashire. Currently there is a large primary school in Accrington who require a Reception Class teacher who can work from mid January until the end of the year covering a class of 30 Reception aged children. The Head teacher has noted that she is looking to raise standards further in the EYFS unit and with this there are a number of new strategies she is looking to put in place. The team working in the EYFS unit are committed to driving standards and are welcoming and approachable. The Head has commented that the appointed teacher would be well supported and given a full induction with the school and its policies and safeguarding responsibilities.
In terms of the location, the school is commutable by bus, train and car. It is in a mixed catchment area, where children come from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. Most children tend to be working below expected age related levels and so the school are keen to develop speech and language skills as well as their self esteem. The school are keen to see a number of prospective candidates and would invite people based on a strong academic background as well as a proven track record in Primary Schools.
