Have you recently graduated and looking to gain experience within the education sector?

Perhaps you wish to gain education experience before commencing a PGCE.

An ambitious school in Forest Hill are looking to recruit new teaching assistants to join their current staffing team. The school are currently looking to hire graduates with a passion for helping others succeed. The role of a Teaching Assistant is a varied one and no two days will be the same! A typical morning could consist of assisting the teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons in Mathematics, taking small groups to help attainment in English or purely working 1:1 with a key child across all subject areas. This is a full time role with an immediate start. Successful applicants can expect to receive between £300 and £350 per week depending on experience.

The school is located in Forest Hill, just a short walk from Crofton Park station. The school were rated "outstanding" by Ofsted during their last inspection The SLT at this school are dedicated to the continued high level of results that the school has achieved in recent years.

We would also like to hear from you if you meet any of the following;

  • Experienced in the role of a TA/LSA
  • Experience in any "education other" field (Au Pair, Sports Coach, youth worker)
  • A hard working professional looking for a career change.

All candidates must hold a valid "child workforce" DBS which is registered with the update service or be wiling to apply for one.
