RE Teacher

A secondary school in the Stockport area is looking to take on a RE teacher for a maternity cover. The maternity cover is due to start at the end of September for the remainder of the academic year 2019-2020. The successfully appointed RE teacher will be expected to teach up to GCSE level for the duration of the academic year. There is the opportunity to progress onto a school based contract following a term on a supply basis where the successful RE teacher will have the chance to rest the school out over an extended period of time.

The school follows the AQA syllabus with a short course at KS3 level and the option of a long course for GCSE students. World religions studied include Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity and Sikhism.
