Religious Studies teacher required for Mixed Secondary school in the area of Tower Hamlets for KS3/KS4 - working at Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school.

Rate: £125 to £215 per day.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a large secondary school, from September on a permanent position!

Permanent Religious studies teaching role in Tower Hamlets - September 2019.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established community secondary school, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The school prides itself on being at the heart of its community and being caring, friendly and strongly inclusive. They encourage positive relationships built around honesty and respect, and challenge students to work hard and celebrate their achievements.

The role itself will involve the delivery of Religious studies lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, where the department has enjoyed improving results year on year. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will deliver excellent lessons by ensuring they use a creative and engaging approach, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

The school are looking for an RE Teacher that can deliver lessons in KS3 and KS4, who has excellent subject knowledge, as well as the ability to build rapport with staff and students alike. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

To join this school and be successful in this RE role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • You CV must have 10 years employment history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
