EYFS Teaching Assistant – Leyland
Temp to Perm | £13.75 – £15.00 per hour | Nursery linked to mainstream primary Level 3 EYFS qualification desirable but not essential
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Leyland is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their nursery team. This temp‑to‑perm position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
The nursery forms a key part of the school’s early years provision, offering a structured yet play‑focused curriculum that encourages children to develop independence, communication skills and confidence. You will support the class teacher with planning and delivering activities, help manage behaviour positively and contribute to creating a nurturing space where children feel safe and motivated.
The school values staff who are adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to helping children thrive. While a Level 3 EYFS qualification is desirable, the school welcomes applications from candidates with relevant experience and a strong interest in early childhood development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
