Full-Time Teacher – PMLD Primary School
Location: Liverpool
Contract: Full-Time
A specialist PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) primary school in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Teacher to join their team. This is a highly specialised and rewarding setting, supporting pupils with complex learning needs, medical needs, and physical disabilities.
The role is ideal for a teacher who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education, with a strong commitment to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with pupils with PMLD, SEND, or in a specialist primary setting
- Demonstrate a caring, child-centred approach with a strong understanding of individual needs
- Be skilled in planning and delivering personalised, sensory-based learning activities
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support holistic development
- Show flexibility, creativity, and resilience in adapting teaching strategies

Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience within SEND, PMLD, or specialist education (primary preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
