Graduate Teaching Assistant Required for North Manchester Primary School, Crumpsall M8.

  • Graduate teaching assistant.
  • Maths, English, Psychology Degree/Graduate.
  • School based experience desirable but not essential

Due to previous exam results and a passion for achieving the highest possible results for their children, a primary school in the Crumpsall, North Manchester area are looking to appoint graduate teaching assistants in Maths, English and psychology specifically to work as a teaching assistant within school to start ASAP.

Ideally, the incoming teaching assistants will be enthusiastic graduates who are looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and ideally have experience of working as a teaching assistant in a primary school previously, however not desirable. You would be supporting learning in Maths, English and SPAG specifically in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. If you are looking to complete a PGCE or further your career into teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you.

Highlights of the role:

*Full time teaching assistant (English, Maths and SPAG)

*Small group work and interventions with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.

*Ideal post for graduates wanting a career in teaching/education

*Supportive, young, lively staff and school support network

*Develop your knowledge of the national curriculum in the core subjects

*Salary (£11,500 - £15,800)

Located in North Manchester near the Crumpsall area, this is a good school with a very supportive staff team. Pupils are of mixed faith and heritage and this school serves the local community.
