I am representing a Secondary School located in Swadlincote area that is looking for a teacher of Psychology with an immediate start. The school, with over 1000 students, has previously achieved ‘requires improvement’ Ofsted report so are looking for someone to help drive the school in the right direction under the newly structured SLT and head of department with a passion for teaching and excellent behaviour management skills. The school does have a Sixth Form provision so there is likely to be Key Stage 5 teaching involved. The school has achieved ‘Good’ ratings for the behaviour of its students, so a teacher who is happy to challenge the students academically, rather than merely deal with behavioural issues, is what the school are ideally seeking.
