The position will be working predominately with children 11-16 year old pupils who have verity of Special Education Needs. Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed.
The Salford school strive to `create opportunities for every pupil to develop to his or her maximum potential and strive to deliver an outstanding service to all pupils and their parents.
Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.
A Secondary alternative provision Salford are looking for Psychology graduate TA's to work on a short term supply and long term basis at their school immediately.
The Salford school require individuals who are able to work with 12-16 year olds who have a range of special educational needs including; moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The successful teaching assistant for this post will be a Psychology Graduate and as a result will have a good theoretical understanding of special educational needs. You must also be a confident and a resilient teaching assistant who holds a genuine desire to help young people with SEN achieve.
This is a fantastic Secondary school which offers a great opportunity for Psychology Graduates to begin a career after University.
