A 'Good' graded, primary SEN school in Gainsborough is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support on an ongoing basis in their EYFS class. The school provides education for those from 4 - 11 years, with a range of needs including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities.
The school is custom built with specific facilities in order to ensure all individual needs are met. Class sizes are much smaller than those in mainstream and often have a maximum of 8 students in any one class. Many students are working to low levels and a sensory based curriculum. For the most part, the needs include Autism and Learning Difficulties.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will be required to support across various classes within the school. There is the opportunity to work on a whole group basis, or 1:1. The school can offer additional training, so if you haven't worked in a school before, but are still interested, please still apply.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with the following:
- Teaching Assistant experience
- Voluntary work within a school
- Experience working with adults with learning difficulties
- Supporting the elderly
- Care Assistant experience
Contract type: Temporary / Permanent
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Class sizes - 4 - 8 pupils
Ages: 4 to 11 years
Does this role sound like the right job for you? If so, please apply today.
