Role: Primary Teaching Assistant  

Location: Winford

Salary: GBP60-70 per day

Hours: Part-time (on a job share) or Full-time

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a primary teaching assistant to support the class teacher with the whole class. You will be a floating primary teaching assistant which means you will be supporting classes across all primary key stages. Therefore any experience in all key stages or being happy to support pupils ages 5 -11 is desired. This school is based in a really lovely one-form entry school in the Winford area that is easily accessible by driving. Your day-to-day activities will consist of working through all class activities and supporting small groups of children that may be falling behind expected levels; assisting with activities to help boost confidence in learning and results.

The ideal candidate:

• Sensitive to the needs of children
• Basic knowledge of the school curriculum
• Be able to communicate effectively
• Be passionate, engaging and enthusiastic
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff
• Be excellent at supporting students individually as well as in small groups
• Any experience with SEN students is desire however not necessary

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
