Location: Chester (CH3)
Hours: Flexible, Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs, abilities, and learning style.
  • Support pupils in building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and achieving their academic goals.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Foster positive relationships with learners, families, and education professionals.
  • Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate session records.
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages success.

What We're Looking For

✔ A minimum of one year's teaching or tutoring experience within the UK.
✔ Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
✔ Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
✔ Strong subject knowledge in one or more core subjects.
✔ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
✔ A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
✔ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
