1:1 SEN Tutor
Warrington (WA1)
Competitive Hourly Rate
Monday to Friday – School Hours (Flexible)

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Tutor to support learners in the Warrington (WA1) area.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated tutor or teacher who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive, personalised learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions based on individual learning needs.
  • Support students with a range of SEN requirements.
  • Create engaging, accessible, and structured lesson plans.
  • Build positive relationships to encourage confidence and progress.
  • Track and report student progress regularly.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt learning strategies to suit individual needs.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
