About the Role

As a tutor, you will work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, delivering engaging lessons tailored to their individual needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons.
• Adapt teaching methods and learning resources to suit each student's needs and ability.
• Deliver personalised one-to-one or small group tuition.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback on student achievement.
• Encourage confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and session outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.
• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) is desirable.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN, SEMH or additional learning needs is beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
