Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Specialists to work across a range of primary schools and early years settings throughout Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Early Years practitioners who are passionate about giving children the best possible start to their education.

About the Role
As an Early Years Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development during the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, play-based learning activities that support the EYFS framework.
- Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development.
- Working with individuals and small groups to develop key early learning skills.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Encouraging communication, language, literacy and numeracy development.
- Monitoring children's progress and providing feedback to teachers and school staff.
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years, Childcare or Education.
- Experience working within an EYFS setting, nursery or primary school.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to adapt confidently to different school and nursery environments.
Experience supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs is welcomed but not essential.

Essential Requirements
Successful applicants must:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Be able to provide two professional references covering the last two years.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
