Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate qualified Teacher to secure a role for Early Year children in the Carmarthen area. If you think the below describes you, then please get in touch as we want to hear from you:

-          Passionate about early learning and providing a foundation for young children’s learning?

-          Do you want to make a difference to children enthusiastic to learn and develop?

-          Are you a qualified teacher which is keen to showcase your skills within a Foundation phase year group?

-           Do you hold relevant experience within Primary Education and want a new challenge to develop your skillset?

The role will require a Qualified Teacher to teach and overlook Nursery and Reception years involving both indoor and outdoor play. Taking full advantage of being adventurous and creative is ideal to engage the children in as many ways as possible.

The school has high expectations to ensure quality teaching is provided to provide a great foundation for the early starters to education. They pride themselves on delivering varied education and therefore require a passionate and creative individual to take advantage of the opportunity to provide a ‘hands-on’ approach to learning.

You will be assisted by assistant staff to ensure you are supported in your role and provide a personalised education to the children in your care. This opportunity is not without its rewards as you prepare the children for their years of education and have the ability to project your enthusiasm for education onto them from an early age.

We welcome applicants who:

  • Have gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK;
  • Have specialised in the Foundation Phase or ALN setting or have significant experience of working in these areas;
  • Are able to effectively utilise the Outdoor Classroom;
  • Can confidently plan and delegate a daily routine for support staff within the classroom;
  • Are a Qualified Teacher (NQT’s)
  • Seek a long term position teaching a full timetable with the relevant time set aside for Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA).
  • Registered with the education workforce council (EWC) or willing to register

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
