Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a full-time year 3 Primary school teacher for one of our client schools in Torquay. Following the reopening of schools in the UK (Post COVID-19 school closures) Teaching Personnel are looking to introduce a range of teachers into our client schools in Torquay are surrounding areas. This is a two-form entry school with an expected class size of 30 students and as such the successful applicant will have the support of the existing year three teacher within the role.

The role available will be a full-time teaching role and is at a well-known Torquay school which received ‘good’ in its last OFSTED report. This is a fantastic school and calls for an experienced, creative and capable teacher to join their staff.

  • Duties of the role would include leading and managing a classroom
  • A high level of proactivity is required to fully engage with the role
  • For NQTs or experienced teachers this is a perfect opportunity to hone your classroom skills and gain valuable long-term experience.
  • Delivering inspiring and creative lessons are of paramount importance to meet the school’s expectations and standards
  • Upholding the vision and values of the school at all times is key
    • Monitoring the progress and development of the pupils will be a large aspect of the role

Successful applicants will have:

  • PGCE or equivalent
  • A driving license and a car is desirable but may not be a necessity
  • A recent DBS or be willing to apply for one
  • A passion for education and teaching 
  • Experience of working in Primary schools or education settings
  • Experience across all key stages in mainstream schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
