KS2 Primary Teacher Needed – Sedgefield (Maternity Cover)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a primary school in Sedgefield that is seeking a KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave for the upcoming academic year.

Pay: Competitive daily rates 

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils

  • Assess, monitor, and support pupils’ progress in line with national curriculum expectations

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (either during training or post-qualification)

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Passion for helping children achieve their full potential

  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a team

This is a temporary maternity cover role, with the possibility of further opportunities depending on school needs.
