English Teacher – Secondary Schools – Cardiff
Location: Cardiff
Pay: £166 - £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Start Date: September 2025 (ongoing)
Contract: Temporary or long-term, with permanent opportunities
Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking for your next role in Cardiff?
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of secondary schools across Cardiff to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for full-time or part-time positions starting September 2025.
Whether you’re a newly qualified teacher (ECT/NQT) or an experienced educator, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Prepare pupils for GCSE English exams
- Collaborate with the English department and contribute to whole-school development

- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome to apply
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for English language and literature
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to student development and achievement
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time
