Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Rusholme (Starting May)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rusholme as they look to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Teacher from May. This full-time role runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm and is perfect for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils through this crucial stage of their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons suited to Year 6 learners
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, offering constructive feedback
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and develop best practice
  • Take part in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and organisation skills
  • Adapts teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Has a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Communicates effectively and enjoys working within a team
  • Confidently uses technology to support and enhance teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
