Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Rusholme (Starting After February Half Term)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a warm and inclusive primary school in Rusholme in their search for a committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team after the February half term. This is a full-time position, running from 8:30am to 3:30pm, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring pupils during this pivotal stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils
  • Track and assess pupil progress, offering clear and constructive feedback
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and develop best practice
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Adapts teaching methods to support a range of learning needs
  • Has a solid understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Communicates effectively and works well within a team
  • Confidently uses technology to support and enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
