Year 6 Class Teacher – Full-Time

Stretford
Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Start Date: September

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stretford that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team full-time from September.

As the Year 6 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in guiding pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them for the transition to secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils
  • Track, assess, and record pupil progress, offering constructive and timely feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice
  • Engage fully in professional development opportunities
  • Support pupils in preparing for end-of-year assessments and the move to secondary school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Confidently differentiate lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs
  • Have excellent understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Be confident using technology to enrich teaching and learning
  • Be organised, communicative, and an effective team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
