Year 6 Class Teacher – Full-Time (Start: After February Half Term)

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a warm, inclusive primary school in Stretford as they seek a committed and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to join their team full‑time after February half term.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils
• Track, assess, and record pupil progress, offering clear and constructive feedback
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive, and well‑managed classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and resources
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Prepare pupils for end‑of‑year assessments and the transition to secondary school

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Displays strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Able to differentiate lessons effectively to meet diverse learning needs
• Has excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Confident in using technology to enhance learning
• Is organised, communicative, and a strong team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
