Job Title: Primary Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching primary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. It may require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
