Year 5 Teacher – Primary School (Full-Time) – Hayes

Location: Hayes, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hayes to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking to make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with the national curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with KS2 colleagues and leadership to raise standards.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and support staff.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome to apply.

  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing teaching style.

  • A commitment to high standards and raising pupil achievement.

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
